Problem 1: Exclude files from Indexing
When you press
command+p that shows up a list of all files. Sublime indexes all files present in your working directory. To prevent those CPU spikes when looking up for files, you’d require to exclude the library files e.g. your
bower_packages using the
User Defined settings‘s property called
Problem 2: Exclude files from Search
You can search entire project directory by using
command(win-ctrl) + shift + f, and pass in the expression you want to search.
To filter out the folders you do not want to look in, you may use the following syntax:
